As someone who's enjoyed Cold Stone Creamery for years in Oman, discovering a location here in Kerala felt like stumbling upon a little slice of dessert heaven. My go-to order has always been a Cake Batter base mixed with Graham Crackers and Yellow Cake. While the Indian outlets don’t carry those exact mix-ins, the staff here were quick to suggest alternatives that paired surprisingly well with the Cake Batter flavor. Was it exactly the same? Not quite—but it came close enough to hit that nostalgic sweet spot. One thing I did miss was the signature Cold Stone experience: the interactive fun of watching your custom creation come to life on the frozen slab. That part seems to be skipped at this outlet, which was a bit of a letdown. Still, I’m just happy I found Cold Stone ice cream I genuinely enjoyed. I had to travel over 70 kilometers to get here, but for a taste of nostalgia, it was totally worth it.
