Cocoa Café turned out to be an absolute hidden gem and a steal deal. We were simply looking for a good coffee place near our hotel and found it bang opposite Holiday Inn, which made it an easy pick—and what a pleasant surprise it was. We ordered caramel coffee, mocha, and hot chocolate, and all of them were genuinely excellent—well-balanced, rich, and clearly made with care. The quality really stood out, especially the hot chocolate, which was comforting and indulgent without being overly sweet. The seating is spacious and tastefully designed, with a relaxed, welcoming vibe. You’ll notice people comfortably working on laptops, having quiet conversations, or just unwinding with a cup of coffee. There’s also a lovely outdoor seating area, shaded and covered with vines, adding a charming green touch to the space. Though we couldn’t try their food this time (it was too early for dinner and too late for lunch), the menu looks extensive, and the dessert display is extremely tempting—the kind that makes you want to try everything on the shelf. Their steaks and larger plates are definitely on our list for the next visit. Another big plus is that the café has ample seating and parking, making it ideal for catching up with friends, business meetings, or even taking work calls. The host is warm and welcoming, never rushing you out, which adds to the comfort and overall experience. Overall: Cocoa Café is one of the best cafés in Cochin—great coffee, inviting ambience, greenery all around, and a relaxed atmosphere.
