The price was increased as Zomato was refusing to cancel the offer of 60% on their platform. When we were selling at 260 Rs - we used to provide a customer 20% offer - so the customer pays 208Rs - and a commission of 30% to Zomato - so effectively the restaurant gets paid 145Rs which is even lesser than the actual price. when Zomato activates an offer of 60% and if the selling price is still 260 - how can we survive if we get paid only 70Rs for a burger that costs 165 Rs. we have gone the extra mile and created a delivery website ourselves so that our customers can order at a lower price.
