Let me provide a 1 star re-view for the entire property. Ajeesh - there reservation manager is very rude and arrogant. We blocked deluxe cottage for our guest and next day he reply cottage sold out. we were asking for options and his behaviour was so rude, do you need rooms then take else dont waste my time. I never expected such behaviour from a resort staff. The management never keep professional staff here. Better avoid this resort, and there are plenty of other resorts in varkala. This resort is Worth 1 star, due to lack of professional behaviour.

This resort is overpriced due to its location. Room service and basic amenities such as TV, drinking water and toiletries are poor, electric kettle for hot water not available and staff denied upon asking to provide.....though it's price online was Rs.3800/-. The restaurant of this resort is very good for sea view and reasonable prices and food quality.

1 Star – Extremely Unprofessional & Poor Hygiene Standards Our experience at Clafouti Beach Resort was extremely disappointing. After reaching the property, we were made to wait outside for nearly 2 hours in extreme heat. There is no proper reception area or waiting space for guests. Standing outside in direct sunlight with luggage, without any assistance, shows a complete lack of basic hospitality. During check-in, the reception staff demanded extra payment to make the room available earlier and even asked for additional charges for basic cleaning. Charging extra for essential services after a confirmed booking is unacceptable and highly unprofessional. The entire management process seemed disorganised, communication was weak, and there was no transparency about policies or charges. I strongly advise others to avoid this resort due to the unprofessional service, poor hygiene, and lack of transparency.
