One of the best resorts to stay at on Palolem Beach. I had a wonderful stay here — amazing food, extremely cooperative and warm staff, and a fantastic live music scene. There’s nothing better than enjoying great music and delicious food with the beach right in front of you, along with beautiful scenic views. Truly a memorable experience. Service: 5

I recently stayed at Ciarans Resort, and while the location is undeniably beautiful—right next to the beach with easy access to shacks and water sports—the overall experience fell short of expectations. The beachfront is vibrant, and the food at the in-house restaurant is quite good, offering a decent variety of dishes with fresh ingredients. However, beyond the food and location, there’s little to justify the high price. The rooms were not very clean, and essential amenities like toiletries and drinking water were missing. Guests are expected to fetch water themselves from the main restaurant, which is quite inconvenient, especially after a long day. The lack of attention to basic comfort made the stay feel subpar. Moreover, the resort is difficult to locate from the main road due to poor signage, and they do not offer free parking for four-wheelers—another downside for those traveling by car. Perhaps the most disappointing aspect was the staff. They were not very responsive or attentive to guest needs, which added to the overall sense of neglect. For the price being charged, one would expect a much higher standard of service and care. At this point, Ciarans relies heavily on its location, but needs major improvements elsewhere. Service: 1
