Once upon a time, Chutneys was our go-to place. Every family occasion, every visitor to Hyderabad—friend or relative—we’d bring them here. But a few years ago, I noticed the chutney’s quality starting to decline, and we eventually stopped visiting. As a chutney lover, that experience left a bitter taste, both literally and emotionally. Recently, driven by nostalgia, we decided to give it another try and came down with our family. Unfortunately, the state of the South Indian food remained the same—stale chutneys lacking freshness and flavor, with everything tasting more or less the same. We then decided to try the North Indian food, and to our surprise, it was quite good. The spring rolls, garlic naan, and mixed veg curry were all enjoyable—three stars for that alone. However, I’ve been requesting for years, both online and offline, to bring back steel glasses and stop serving tiny plastic Pep bottles. At least it should be optional. But, It feels like feedback is simply ignored. The silver lining is always the filer coffee. I guess that’s why we keep coming back!? Dear owner, so many people hold fond memories of your brand. Chutneys standards have fallen drastically and food quality has gone below average. I have been to Chutneys earlier but have never been this disappointed. Firstly the prices are too high for the quality of food they provide. We have ordered ildy, Rava Dosa and Bangalore masala dosa. The sambar was served cold, and the Rava dosa tasted bland And talking about Bangalore masala dosa, it took me to a great disappointment as it tasted nothing close to the actual Bangalore dosa. The dosa was thicker than the actual one, masala was not good. There are many better places in the same area that offer good food at reasonable rates when compared to the overpriced food that we got here. I suggest the foodies try out Masala Dosa and thatte Idly at Mangli Kitchen in PG road if you really want to get a touch of good breakfast! Overall had a disappointing breakfast experience at Chutneys for the price that they have :(. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹400–600

When you order Paneer Kulcha - it turns out sweet. And the senior steward doesn’t care to forewarn the customer. He is convinced paneer Kulcha can have sugar. Please educate the staff. Chana bhatura thankfully was good…. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹200–400
