Chutneys, KPHB – Great Setup, But Food Fell Short by quality and taste. Visited Chutneys at KPHB with high expectations to enjoy a classic Andhra meal, but the experience was quite disappointing. We ordered the South Indian Thali priced at Rs 395. While the spread included a few desserts like mango purée, the most basic element—the rice—was lumpy, poorly cooked, and felt more like low-quality subsidised rice. It completely took away from the meal. The ambiance is good—located on the 3rd floor with lift access, and valet parking is definitely a plus in a busy area like KPHB. But despite all these conveniences, the food quality and taste just didn’t deliver. For a restaurant known for South Indian meals, falling short on the core basics was disappointing. Hopefully, they work on consistency and quality, because the infrastructure is all there.
