Date: 21.06.25 Platform: Swiggy Restaurant: Chowman, Behala Branch I ordered food from Chowman (Behala) today via Swiggy, and unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. The food was overwhelmingly spicy—so much so that the only noticeable flavour was chilli. It lacked any real taste or balance, and we ended up throwing most of it away because it was simply inedible. This was not what I expected from a well-known brand like Chowman. Such excessive use of chilli is often a tactic used by lesser-known eateries to mask poor-quality food, which makes this all the more surprising coming from a reputed chain. It seems their rapid expansion across Kolkata may be coming at the cost of quality control. I will certainly think twice before ordering from Chowman again.
