Chives is definitely worth a visit! The pizza is a must-try—soft, flavorful, and honestly better than most places in Coimbatore. The waffle and chicken is another standout—highly recommended! However, the ramen bowl was a bit of a miss for me. It had strong, authentic Japanese flavors, with a fishy aroma from the seaweed, which wasn’t to my taste. But if you love traditional Japanese flavors, you might enjoy it. Apart from that, the staff were incredibly warm and hospitable, making the whole experience even better. Whatever i chose from the menu was not available. I’m not sure if they are short of chef / cook or food ingredients. They have plenty of variety to choose from but once you take your time and decide, you get a nice smile from people who waits and they say “sorry sir its not available” one thing i like is the service- Its really good! and ambiance is ok. I wanted to give my honest review on the restaurant . On the brighter side, the elegance, lighting, pastel background looked promising. on the other side, many of their food items like pork belly, chicken teriyaki bao were undercooked. Myself and my wife had a bad tummy ache and stomach upset. we had to wake up with pain in the tummy. very bad experience. Not going here anymore. Not a place to experiment. Very horrifying night that was.
