Absolute finger licking food, served fresh and piping hot... Each time... everytime.
Top class hygiene is an added advantage.
Opted for their non veg meals which incudes unlimited mutton, chicken, fish gravies, servings of piping hot rice, kootu, palya and a chutney, not to forget the to die for kara kozhambu... Tangy and spicy to the hilt.. Would rate it as one of the best in Tamil nadu loaded with lady finger. The fish. Chicken and mutton curries are top class, as good as they would be if ordered ala carte.
The chicken 65 was made without added color, hence it dosent look fiery red but was delectable.. Spicy, crunchy, juicy chunks of super hot deep fried chicken... Ultimate. The mutton chukka was beyond words... The mutton fat ratio was magic... Every nite of meat had a small portion of fat to it and was slow Cooked to perfection... A peppery delight and went well with the rice and rasam. The kola ( mutton keema balls) were melt in the mouth, ructic and earthy a must have. The karandi omlette was lovely, made in a bandli.. Was thick and fluffy, only the tamils can make this wonder so perfectly... Goes well with the kara kozhambu and rice.
A visit to kovai, is considered incomplete without a visit to haribhavanam... Such is this legends following.
