A Royal Indian Feast: Chingari Restaurant Review, Le Meridien Resort, Mahabaleshwar During our recent stay at Le Meridien Resort in Mahabaleshwar, we had the pleasure of dining at Chingari Restaurant, an Indian cuisine gem nestled within the resort. Our dinner experience was nothing short of exceptional, with each dish showcasing the richness and diversity of Indian flavors. We were informed that the Chef was from Rajasthan, and his expertise in traditional Rajasthani cuisine was evident in every dish. Veg Biriyani. The Veg Biriyani was a masterclass in aromatic flavors, with each grain of basmati rice cooked to perfection. The medley of vegetables, including carrots, peas, and cauliflower, added a delightful pop of color and texture. The biriyani was served with a side of raita, which helped to balance the spices. Dal Makhni. The Dal Makhni was a creamy, comforting delight, with the black lentils and kidney beans cooked to a perfect tender consistency. The rich, buttery flavor of the dal was elevated by the subtle spices, making it a standout dish. Gatta Sabzi with Tandoori Roti.
