I regret to say that my recent visit to Chinese Tonic was a complete letdown. The quality of both the food and service left much to be desired, and I cannot recommend this place based on my experience. Let's start with the food - it was simply subpar. The dishes lacked flavor and seemed like they were hastily prepared. The ingredients appeared to be of low quality, leaving me with a sense of disappointment after each bite. For the prices they charge, I expected much better. The service was equally disappointing. The staff seemed disinterested and unmotivated. It took an eternity for them to take our orders, and once the food arrived, it seemed like they had completely forgotten about us. They rarely checked on our table, and when they did, it was with a disinterested attitude. There was no effort to make our dining experience enjoyable. To make matters worse, the atmosphere was lackluster. The ambiance felt dull and neglected, making it difficult to feel comfortable or relaxed during our meal. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was also questionable, which further contributed to my disappointment. I sincerely hope that the management takes this review as constructive criticism and uses it to improve their establishment. As a customer, I expect better value for my money and a pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, Chinese Tonic fell far short of meeting those expectations. I will not be returning to this restaurant, nor will I recommend it to anyone seeking quality food and service. There are plenty of other dining options in the area that offer far better experiences.
