The authentic thali was awesome ...as well as sea food you must try it's worth. All food served with care and preferences that's was majestic..... visit with family and friends. Service was too notch. We had an outstanding dining experience at Chhwela— truly a hidden gem in every sense. It may take a little effort to find, but locals will gladly guide you. We tried: 1. Pork Curry Thakali 2. Buff Choila Thakali Both dishes were nothing short of soul food. The standard accompaniments of the Thakali set were authentic and beautifully done. We especially loved the saag and masu ko dal. The Buff Choila was tender, perfectly charred, and bursting with flavor. While it’s usually quite spicy, they thoughtfully balanced the heat to match our taste, making it an absolute delight. The Pork Curry, however, stole the show. I’ve had countless pork curry thakalis during my recent Nepal trip, but this one easily tops them all. The meat was tender, flavorful, and they even served lean cuts as per my request. The kheer, served with the Thakali was a perfect and sweet ending to the meal.
