It is well known for its grilled sandwiches, momos, chowmein, thukpas, pastries and coffee. The pricing is quite reasonable and the staff is friendly and helpful. The ambience is not too alluring but the food more than makes up for it.
The sandwiches are the highlight here. They are extremely filling and very tasty. The momos are freshly steamed and 8 pieces are enough to fill your appetite. The fried rice/noodle combos are also great, with chicken manchurian being the standout dish. The pizzas and coffee are also highly recommended.
Overall, Boneys is an amazing place to visit for a quick bite or for a full meal. The quality of food and service is commendable and the prices are quite reasonable. It is definitely worth a visit for all foodies travelling to Darjeeling.

Reasonably priced, busy restaurant right at the heart of the town. A variety of eats ( momo, sandwich, fried rice, brownies, noodles, etc) served.People belonging to all age group flock the restaurant. Go for the delicious hot chocolate walnut brownie, it’s yummy! Black coffee was strong and good! The service was good. The noodles portion served is good enough for two. Locals and tourists both visit the restaurant and none would be dissatisfied or disappointed with their service and food. A thriving local business backed by quality. Today I went to have momos at boneys restaurant but one very thin lady waitress misbehave me .not allow me to sit on seperate cabin as I was alone.that thin lady behaviour is very rude and very undispline lady . customer is God , don't do with other this kind of behaviour specially that thin lady waitress I suggest you Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
