Went to Chap Chay for dinner, six of us had dined. Our reservation was confirmed by Vijay from the restaurant he was extremely polite and he welcomed us to our table. I had senior citizens along with me and It was very polite of Vishnu and his team to serve us really well.. Thank you for being courteous.. The ambience is well lit and has a cozy feel. The happening live stir fry section was the highlight where one can choose on a variety of veggies, protein, seafood and the base of noodles or rice or just stir-fry along with a wide range of about 20 various sauces. Make your own stir-fry concept is to explore and choose how we'd like to make and have our food.. I found this interesting cos I like to pair different ingredients and sauces together to understand what could make the regular better! We also ordered a la carte as well, the chicken siu Mai which was just a melt in the mouth with succulent flavours and a moist filling.. the tom kha and Tom yum had a good balance of flavours.. Xo prawns was ordered as mains the sauce was perfect However the mighty prawns were way too over cooked making it very chewy and hard.. the crispy lamb, the rice, noodles and stir-frys were great, would love to come again and keep experimenting with different sauces and create new bowls of my choice!
