This restaurant and Guwahati Planetarium can be both really attractive for tourists. The menu of Thai cuisine under the direction of the popular chef is wonderful here. Based on the visitors' opinions, waiters serve good laksa, thai chicken and shumai here. Nicely cooked mango sticky rice can make a strong impression on you.
Changmai is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. From the guests' viewpoint, prices are average. The nice decor and quiet ambiance let guests feel relaxed here. This place is rated on Google 4.4 by its clients.

Recently visited this restaurant on a weekday evening and it was sparsely occupied. We ordered Yang(Thai BBQ) chicken and pork, chicken pho, Thai red curry chicken, chicken rendang curry ,Singapore noodles chicken and fresh lime soda. The fresh lime soda was awful- probably the worst I ever had. The starter Yang in chicken was okayish but in pork was bad. Everything else except the rendang curry was very poorly made and the service was too slow. I have travelled across south east Asia and have also had SEA’s food in Delhi and Bengaluru and the food here was probably the worst. Hi, I just wanted something different, just needed a break from the spicy foods( nothing wrong with spicy food) of India and Changmai delivered. Ordered a Pad Thai just to test the waters and it was fantastic. The plate was bigger than I expected which is very welcoming. ( Had to do take away so big ) The dish was moist and fresh and felt fresh with every mouth full. I'm used to Thai town food in Sydney Australia and I would say this comes dam close to it. Staff are very accommodating and eager to welcome you. Drink menu was a little lacking would of liked a coconut water or something to wash my Pad Thai down with. The ambiance of the restaurant is relaxed, with relaxing music after a busy day sightseeing and shopping. Hope you liked it as much as I did. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
