Chak De Chaap:- Since it was newly opened near our place, we visited it to try their Chaap at night. We were greeted quite well by the owner, from whom we came to know that the outlet has just opened a day back. On the recommendation of the owner, who hails from Delhi, we ordered 2 chaaps, One was hariyali another was Chef's special. To be honest, the taste was outstanding. The crispiness, the flavours, the aroma, the spices and the overall essence of the chaaps were wonderful. We’ve had chaaps at many places, none like the one we’ve had here. Now, on our recent visit to Mumbai, we again went there for lunch. This time, we ordered tandoori chaap and stuffed Kulcha with amritsari chole. Again, the aloo and green peas stuffing in the kulcha and the overall taste of chole was outstanding. We were also provided Chatni, Pickle, Imli Water and Beat Root Onions. It all added to the overall experience and taste. We literally loved the meal on the whole. Also, we had ordered Masala Butter Milk. It was lavish with the lovely flavour of Phoodina in it. However, it was expensive given the quantity/glass in which it was served. Since their Hariyali Chaap from Uttarakhand was our favourite, we again ordered it for home delivery. The taste was maintained and it was a delight to have it. Overall, it is a must go place for us and we surely recommend it to one and all. Their spices and the taste is worth a go for sure. The ambience is also good. Colourful seats amidst minimal decor with trees as part of the decor makes for a good feeling overall. The only con of the outlet is their slow service. You need to be patient to enjoy the delightful meals served here. Their service has fastened quite a bit than our first visit though. Onwards and upwards. We would rate it 4.5/5.
