This review is not for Chai but for the restaurant that is on the other side of Chai across the swimming pool. Hope someone from Vedic village reads it. We went on 10th nov, 2019 , had lunch in that restaurant. We heard this was a 5 star resort. Really? The short and round guy at the counter who was printing the bills n coming to tables to collect payment was extremely rude. The way he behaved, it felt like we were in some road side restaurant. Surely didnt feel like we were in such a famous place. Since we were on a date, we didnt waste time finding the manager n complaining about that guy. But that memory still haunts. Hence, writing it here. The waiter was polite and nice. But this guy sitting at the counter who was making bills n coming to tables with the bill was so rude and arrogant. Not the kind of treatment we hope to get in such a famous resort. Hope it reaches the concerned officials. In case, someone takes the pain to identify the guy - we entered at 4:05 pm, left around 5:30 PM ( approx) . Bill amount - 1400+ ( approx) . Items - Mix chowmein, some chicken gravy and a chicken starter.
This very kind gentleman had come to us with the bill n collected the payment!! Hope he can be identified.
This place has been one of the best places i have visited ever. The best thing that attracts visitors is the calmness of the place, the serenity that relaxes visitors after a week long hectic life.
Visited this place a week before Christmas, and was the perfect time to order 60 days wine soaked dry fruits and plum pudding on display. It was rich in taste and yummy. The grilled veg salad was not bad. But it is the openness oglf the place by the poolside where I sipped a cup of Earl grey tea added to the amazing feeling. If not for the setting, this place is just 'good'.
