A space that has remained open and welcoming for everyone in and around Bhavan's to share ideas, build projects, discuss sports, politics, films and perhaps even foment revolutions... Chai Kahani has the decor, ambiance and fragrance of an Irani cafe that marries an English pub, and has been the saviour of thought-hungry students of Bhavan's for several years. That it continues to do the job is a testament to its longevity. Each and every variety of chai served here is meant to be savoured along with ideas, thoughts and emotions.

Awesome experience... Had masala chai and bhurji (egg) pav. Outside seating is also pet friendly. Food is very fresh and tea is just awesome. Gave four stars... Deducted one star for general cleaning of chairs and tables... Rest ... Awesome experience. Manjeet and Aashoo

Visited this place with a friend and overall had a decent experience. The tea was quite good and satisfying, definitely one of the highlights of our visit. However, we did face a issue with our food order — we had specifically asked for a grill sandwich but were served a toast sandwich instead. It wasn’t a major problem, but a bit of attention to detail would have made the experience smoother. Customer service was average — neither too slow nor particularly attentive. The staff could be more responsive and careful with order accuracy. That said, the ambience was quite pleasant, making it a nice spot to relax and chill with friends. The atmosphere had a calm, laid-back vibe that added to the overall feel of the place. Would recommend it for casual meetups, but there's definitely room for improvement in service quality and order handling.
