Conveniently located inside palladium mall..babycorn started was quite tasty..(coz they did not have lotus stem).. Tried the paneer stuffed baowhich was mildly disappointing..tasted little dry so asked for a dip/sauce..the girl was reluctant to even offer mayo when asked..I hope I have a better experience next time. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: ₹600–800 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Vegetarian options: The pictures around of dimsuma looked delicious..might want to try it some other time.

Cha Hong Kong Eating House at the Palladium Mall in Ahmedabad provided a great atmosphere with dim lighting and chic decor. With it being in the mall itself, there was limited seating; about 10 booths and 5 standard table tops it seems with some outdoor seating. I was greeted by the hostess and seated. It took roughly about 45 minutes until someone came and asked if my order had been placed in and with the manager coming to ask shortly after what I would like to order. I ordered the Tuna Nigiri, Har Gow, Chicken & Shrimp Siu Mai, and the Steamed Shrimp Chueng Fun. Presentation of each dish was great. The Tuna Nigiri tasted very light with no fishy taste to it. The Har Gow came out piping hot and was cooked great with the casing not falling apart and tasting to gelatinous. However, it did seem to miss water chestnuts within it. It tasted great nonetheless. The Chicken & Shrimp Siu Mai had a great depth of flavor and was juicy. The menu did indicate that is would be provided with a tangy broth that unfortunately did not receive. The Steamed Shrimp Cheung Fun could do some work. The noodle itself was great, however the shrimp did seem to be the same consistency as the Har Gow filling, which I am not used to as it would just be the steamed shrimp itself. Was not my favorite. The food overall was good. I would come again to try the rest of the menu. Service was very disappointing and unfortunate. With the count of staff for a small restaurant, there should have been more commutation and attentiveness to the customers. Service goes a long way and plays a huge role in the overall experience.
