Historical tour and high tea here is a must! I had an 8 hour layover in Hyderabad and this was exactly the experience I needed before my international flight. The fresh squeezed juices, specialty finger sandwich, and live electric guitar player were my favorite. High tea starts at 3:30 p.m. and do not forget to do the historical tour before at 3:00 p.m. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The Indian food served, though claimed to be Hyderabadi, is not even close to Hyderabadi food at all. They have reduced rich flavours to usual curries. Despite claiming that chicken was cooked in saffron, there was not even pinch of it. The biryani lacked aroma, total absence of saffron, elahchi. In short their authenticity is a complete sham. Visited Celeste for a 4 course dinner meal. Palace tour is complimentary I think, it started 45 minutes before our reserved dinner time. The palace is very beautiful with some of the antique pieces still showcased for visitors, and so are the restaurants. Celeste is correctly named, for the heavenly interiors, food and desserts! We selected non veg menu that consisted of options to choose from for Salad, mushroom/chicken soup, Palate cleanser, Gnocchi/Fusilli Pesto/Ravioli, Lamb Chops/Chicken, Dessert. Worth a visit! Great food and hospitality, the staff is so courteous and generous to make our special days even better!
