Carnatic Cafe is recommend by my husband, me and my daughter were craving got South Indian cuisine desperately, My hubby he just gone through this little bit different kind of preparation, We visited this place for dinner by 8:30 pm , definitely high time for dinner waited for more then half hour , clicked pic from outside , this also increased our hunger,we ordered My favourite dishes out here are: Idli - Large, soft and fluffy idli with delicious coconut chutney Malleshwaram 18 Cross Dosa - Thick, fluffy yet crisp dosa, Dahi Vada - fresh sweet curd and vada with extra crispy boondi and peanuts. The chutneys are fresh and the sambar is very flavourful. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Carnatic Cafe – Meharchand Market, Lodhi Colony Located right on the main road at Meharchand Market (82-85, The Lodhi Rd), Carnatic Cafe is easily accessible with ample roadside parking available. However, during lunch hours, you might need to wait a bit for parking, but otherwise, there is no rush. As you enter, the interiors instantly give you authentic South Indian diner vibes with a simple, clean, and calm environment. The place feels welcoming and peaceful – perfect for a quiet meal alone or with friends. I ordered the Malleshwaram Dosa and Rava Masala Dosa – both were absolutely delicious. The dosas were crisp, flavourful, and true to the authentic Karnataka taste. Their famous Thatte Idly was incredibly soft, and the Paddu was perfectly crispy. The food quality here is excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch. I will definitely be visiting again soon to try more from their menu.
