Visited this South Indian place recently and really enjoyed the food. The dosas were crisp, well-seasoned, and paired with flavorful chutneys and sambar. The taste felt authentic and freshly made. Portion sizes were satisfying and the service was polite and fairly quick. The ambiance is simple and clean. Seating is a bit limited during busy hours, but if you find a spot, it’s definitely worth the visit for a tasty South Indian meal.

Overall Rating : 2.5 Last night, we went to Carnatic Café (Lodhi Road) after a few years, and honestly, it was a big disappointment. We ordered: •Malleshwaram 18th Cross Dosa 6/10 The size has reduced, it was cold and dry! •Dahi Bhalla 7/10 No green chutney or amla chutney served with it. •Vada 7/10 Just okay, nothing special. •Sambar 5/10 Way too salty! • Desserts: •Kesari Bath 6/10 •Ice Cream 4/10 Overall, not recommending at all. They don’t even have a proper desk or a person in charge to take names or coordinate seating. The poor security guard (chowkidar) was running between both places trying to find tables and make guests sit. Very sad and disappointing experience definitely not going back again! Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
