I felt humiliated and deeply uncomfortable at this outlet. When my friend and I went to use the washroom, the man at the counter stopped us and said only customers are allowed without even asking if we were customers. There was no sign mentioning such a rule. The way it was said felt rude especially towards two women. When this was brought up while placing our order, instead of apologising, he became aggressive and started lecturing us about civic sense. What shocked me the most was his comment that local Indian people lack civic sense. As an Indian woman, hearing this from someone working here was insulting and unacceptable. No cafe experience is worth feeling disrespected and talked down to. The management seriously needs to address this kind of behaviour. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We had a very unpleasant experience at this outlet. We were seated outside when two of my female friends went to use the washroom. The guy at the counter immediately stopped them, saying only customers are allowed to use the washroom, without even bothering to ask whether they were customers or not. If such a rule exists, it should be clearly mentioned at the entrance. Also, as per Indian regulations, denying washroom access like this is questionable. When my friends came back and we went to place our order, I politely brought up the incident. Instead of handling it professionally, the staff member became defensive and insisted that people “lack civic sense” if they use the washroom before ordering. He went a step further and made a very offensive generalisation, saying that local Indian people lack civic sense. This was extremely disrespectful and unnecessary. What was even more shocking was that he mentioned he had been working at the same restaurant for 13 years, yet spoke neither Marathi nor Hindi, while openly showing disregard for Indians themselves. This attitude towards customers is unacceptable. Good food cannot make up for rude behaviour, poor communication, and disrespect. Management seriously needs to look into staff conduct and sensitivity training. Until then, I wouldn’t recommend this branch. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Other
