However, there are notable concerns about the food quality, particularly with the egg fried rice, which did not meet expectations. The egg fried rice ordered contained chicken, which was unexpected and suggests either a mistake or a less conventional preparation. In authentic Chinese cuisine, egg fried rice usually does not include meat unless specified. Moreover, the use of spices like cardamom and cinnamon in the fried rice is unusual for traditional Chinese recipes. These spices are more commonly found in South Asian dishes like biryanis and can result in a dry texture and flavor profile that is quite different from the typical savory and umami taste expected from Chinese fried rice.
