Visited Café Almas recently and found the overall dining experience to be fairly average. I tried the chicken korma with roti — while the portion size was decent, the korma lacked any distinct flavor or richness, coming across as quite basic. The rotis were soft but made entirely of maida, which some may not like. On a positive note, I ended the meal with their caramel custard, which turned out to be the highlight — smooth, well-set, and nicely balanced in sweetness. The service was prompt and courteous, and the staff ensured we were attended to without delay. While the price and service were commendable, the food left room for improvement.
