Still one of the top restaurants in the area after all these years. I hope people don’t forget about Nu.it is better than ever, and such a nice contrast to the mess of boring tourist restaurants all over Mandrem beach road. Cafe Nu is a bit of a hidden gem — open only during the season and, from what I’ve seen, just for dinner. The space is large, so you can usually find a table without a wait, and the atmosphere is relaxed and intimate. The Portobello Mushroom is a must-try, beautifully done and full of flavour. For dessert, go for the Bon Bon — it’s indulgent and memorable. My partner had the steak and loved it. It’s the perfect spot to head to after a day at the beach — a quiet, candlelit setting where friends can catch up over great food and good conversation.
