Had Thali 2 and Thali 6, and I’m not exaggerating when I say this, the taste is literally Goa. Thali 2 was all about surmai done right. The coconut-based curry was thick and comforting, not diluted like most places. The rawa fry had that perfect crisp layer, golden outside, soft and juicy inside. And the recheado masala? Proper spicy, tangy, that classic Goan vinegar punch. The cool Sol kadi balanced everything out, cool and refreshing. Simple rice, but steamed perfectly. Thali 6 was loaded. The prawn curry tasted homely, rich and flavourful. The rawa prawns were crunchy and fresh, not rubbery. And the pomfret was the star, beautifully fried with bold masala, full coastal flavour in every bite. Portions are solid, everything feels freshly made, and nothing tastes commercial or toned down. It’s the kind of meal that makes you slow down and actually enjoy every bite. If you’re craving authentic Goan seafood, this place delivers. No drama. Just real, proper food. If you need a sign to visit Cafe Goa, this is it! We just finished a Sunday lunch here, and every single bite was phenomenal. Seriously, the taste of the food was amazing—authentic, fresh, and perfectly spiced. The Ros Omelet is an absolute must-try; it was rich and spicy, hitting the exact spot. We also devoured the Pomfret Cafreal, where the fresh pomfret paired beautifully with the fragrant green masala. Even the Thali was excellent, offering great variety and comfort. Cafe Goa delivers the real taste of Goa. This spot is a definite must-visit! Go now! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹1,400–1,600 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
