Went there at 8.30. The restaurant was almost filled, which shows that it has some mettle. For starters, I ordered Kolambi Fry. This was disappointing. Each prawn was insufficiently cooked, and the tail part of it was bit hard, spoiling the overall experience. For the main course, I ordered the Bangda thali, which consists of 1 bangda fry, fish curry(ultd), wet chutney, sukkat(ultd), chicken masala stock(ultd), rice, and the best thing to finish it all, solkadhi. The bangda fry was good, so was the chicken stock and solkadhi. But as far as the coconut fish curry goes, in my opinion, it contained too much coconut making it thick. Would I recommend for first time goers? Yes. Would I myself go there multiple times frequently? Not exactly. Horrible food . We are sea food lovers hence we went to try this restaurant. We had pomfret thali, surmai thali, some prawns fry, prawns curry. Everything was so horrible to taste that we had to leave our food unfinished. We asked while ordering which fish is fresh, staff confidently said everything is fresh , but fish was soo stale that we had very bad aftertaste. I don't know for how many days/ weeks it was kept in refrigerator. It was really terrible experience. Food quality doesn't even deserve even one star.
