Cafe Catamaran in Alappuzha is a great spot to relax, enjoy a meal and take in the stunning views of the beach. The cafe has a diverse menu with Indian and international dishes, cold and hot drinks, and a range of juices. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and there is often live music playing in the evenings. The view of the sunset from the cafe is breathtaking and it's a great place to spend an evening. The food is delicious and generous in size, with highlights being the salted caramel shake and the white sauce chicken pasta. The cafe also has a great selection of snacks, sandwiches and muesli. Overall, Cafe Catamaran is an excellent spot to chill out, enjoy the ocean breeze and watch the sun go down. Highly recommended!

Cafe Catamaran in Alappuzha is a little beachside gem. It’s a cozy shack right in front of the sea, with comfortable seating and a really nice, relaxed crowd. The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and worth every bite. What truly makes the place special is the stunning beach view; sitting there with the sound of the waves is pure bliss. This spot has a really good natural ambience with that open beachfront setup right on the shores of Alappuzha Beach. The constant sea breeze and the direct view of the ocean make it feel super relaxing, especially in the evenings. The great view of the sunset is definitely the highlight—watching the sky turn orange and pink while sitting on the terrace with the waves crashing nearby is pretty magical and worth the visit alone. That said, the property isn't properly maintained. Some areas look a bit worn out, with dusty corners, faded paint, and overall upkeep that could be better. It takes away a little from the experience when you notice these things up close. Food and service are decent but nothing exceptional, and the place could use more attention to keep that natural charm shining through.
