I used to love Café Arosha, especially for their Choco Lava Cake — it was my go-to treat and a reason I kept visiting. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been quite disappointing, and we hardly visit the café anymore due to the drop in quality. Just a few days back, we ordered the Choco Lava Cake. The first one they served was warm but mostly liquid — with just a tiny portion of actual cake on one side. It felt like it had been microwaved for too long. We requested a replacement, hoping for a better outcome. Sadly, the second one was even worse — barely warm, undercooked, and entirely liquidy. There was no proper cake texture at all. It felt like eating a hot chocolate, not a lava cake. Also, the portion size seemed much smaller than it used to be. I’d also like to share a past experience: I once ordered a half kg Biscoff cake, and by the time I reached home (just 20–30 minutes away), the cake was completely melted. The layers had separated. When I contacted the café to raise this issue, the owner wasn’t cooperative at all. He bluntly said they couldn’t help and blamed it on travel damage. When I tried to explain, he interrupted saying he had another call and couldn’t talk further. Overall:. Taste: 4/5. Ambience: 4/5.
