The ambience was bad. AC were making noise, name of the cafe was broken at the entrance, cafe didn't look clean. Food was frozen and not freshly made. They gave us mayo and tomato ketchup with chicken. Everything was tasting either tangy or bitter. And at the end to get rid of bad smell they lit dhup with no ventilation. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Brunch Price per person: ₹1,000–1,200

Café Anecdote is one of those rare gems you stumble upon and instantly want to keep coming back to. The ambience is perfect for long hours of work, conversations, or simply soaking in the calm while ideas flow effortlessly. I had the chance to chat with one of the co-founders, Shubham, and it was such an inspiring conversation. Farhan is an absolute gem… thank you for customising the hot chocolate and being so warm and thoughtful! The food is equally good… absolutely wonderful Gunpowder Chicken Tenders that I’d highly recommend. It’s one of those places I’ll feel bittersweet about if it ever gets too crowded because it truly deserves all the attention, yet part of its magic is the shanti it offers.
