CTR / Central Tiffin Room Visited this place for Breakfast early morning after many years. Location: Located on the Margosa road in Malleshwaram. Parking: Parking for 2 wheeler is fine, but very difficult for a 4 wheeler. Ambience: Nostalgic, rustic, typical the old Bangalore vibe. Food Taste: We tried the following items and my review of the same; Kesari Bath – Excellent, one of the finest eaten in the recent times. Khara bath – Just average. Benne Masala Dose – The dose batter was sour, the hotel people should have noticed it and must have rectified it. Sada Dose – Terrible, the dose was not cooked at all and moreover the batter was sour Coffee - Excellent It is not the same Dose I used to have it many years ago, the taste has completely changed. The disgusting part was that the Dose batter was sour and was very evident from the taste, the hotel management did not make corrections to it. Pricing: Prices are fine, but not justified for the experience I had this time. Payment Options: They accept Cash, UPI and also credit cards as well. My Verdict: A good place to visit for the legacy that the hotel has and if you in that part of the town, but I was not happy with the taste and the hype. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Benne Masala Dosa Butter Masala Dosa Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian

I don't understand why people stand in queue where dosa is not worth for Rs.75/- . It's only hype for this hotel. Was shocked to see people waiting for the hotel to open. Dosa is not worth the money. It's not for middle class people. People who really know the taste of dosas will never stand in queue. I had dosa but it's not really worth
