Canteen’s first retro cafe in Burdwan town offers a unique nostalgic vibe. We sampled the Veg Cheese Sandwich, Chicken Momo, and hot coffee. The Veg Cheese Sandwich was not good and not so tasty, but the Chicken Momos were delicious, and the hot coffee was delightful. The only downside was that the atmosphere became quite noisy when all the tables were occupied. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Cheesy Garlic Bread Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection, Vegetarian menu or section Vegetarian options: Options are available. I went there with one of my friend. The atmosphere was really good minus the unnecessary noise coming from the counter here and there. We ordered bunch of things and here's my review of it. Chicken nuggets- they were good and probably the best dish we ate there. Margherita pizza- it was just tomato and olives on bread. Tasted sweet almost nothing even after giving a pile of oregano. It was a disappointing one. Hence proving don't order a pizza when you visit a cafe which doesn't specialize in pizzas(uk what I mean) White sauce chicken pasta- every serving was really nice. Great for the pictures and aesthetics. And this tasted good as well. It was yummy. We had ordered Hot chocolate but they gave us hot bean coffee what we came to know while billing. That was a shortcoming from the stuff coz I had repeated my order several times. Recently , I visited this cafe and have an amazing experience. Ambience was great, well decorated.Sandwiches are very good. The price of the food is also not so high and the quality of the food is very good. It also has outdoor seating facilities.
