A excellent restaurant at Barddhaman for main course. Nice ambiance inside of the restaurant. Behaviour of staff also very good. They have guided the customer. BIRIYANI and POLAO are the famous item of them. Basanti Polao with a Chicken dish is the best combinations there. Thali system are also available. Why I Go There? I want to experience their Bengali food. Bengalis are known for their variety and versatility in cuisine. Being a Bengali foodie, I want to visit 16 ½ Anna for a meal. Ambience The ambience inside the restaurant is quite good, and you can feel the vibes of Bengali songs like Rabindra Sangeet. Food Variety They offer a large variety of Bengali dishes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. I've uploaded their updated menu cards in this review for you to check out. Quantity The quantity of the thali (Chicken Thali that I ordered) is sufficient for one person. The curries are ample, with two pieces of chicken, medium-sized. The other items are also plentiful. Quality The quality is what makes them popular. The Alu Posto was excellent, without any added items like Charmaghaz. You can taste the pure Alu Posto. The chicken, however, was too oily for my liking and needs improvement. The chicken curry didn't impress me, but the Bengali dish 'Chenchra' was very tasty. Other items like Daal, Papad, and Chutney were delicious. Price Although the prices are quite high, you won’t be too disappointed after the meal. The quantity and quality will impress you. I recommend experiencing a meal here. We tried Bengali food at this restaurant but the food test is not so good. It's below avarage but quantity is good. Must improve their food test.
