A small quiet cafe located in Axis mall. Such a quiet place for work and to have food. Ordered hot chocolate from there. It’s too sweet unlike hot chocolate tastes. Staffs are cooperative. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Other Price per person: ₹1–200

I recently visited Buddy's Yard Cafe located in Axis Mall and had a mixed experience. The cafe benefits from a good location and offers a nice ambiance, but there were several areas that left me disappointed. Starting with the positives, the cafe is situated in a good location and boasts a pleasant ambiance, providing a welcoming atmosphere for customers. However, I found that the service staff at Buddy's Yard Cafe lacked sufficient training and professionalism. While they were polite and nice, their overall level of expertise was lacking, which impacted the overall dining experience. Another aspect that struck me as odd was the provision of complimentary cookies with tea but not with coffee. This inconsistency was somewhat amusing and left me questioning their approach to customer service. The coffee at the cafe was a major letdown. It was made with stale beans using a basic fully automated CCD machine, resulting in a below-average taste. Additionally, the coffee had a foul smell, possibly indicating issues with either the milk used, or the cleanliness of the cup, or the espresso machine. These factors significantly affected the overall enjoyment of the coffee. On a positive note, the cheese garlic breads at Buddy's Yard Cafe were a standout item, offering a tasty and satisfying experience. It is worth mentioning that the overall quality issues in the cafe might be attributed to their low prices. Increasing the prices to a reasonable level could potentially help them improve the quality of their offerings. Additionally, I would suggest that the cafe consider playing some light cafe-style music, which can further enhance the ambiance and complement the nice decoration they have in place. In conclusion, despite being well decorated and located in a prime area, Buddy's Yard Cafe did not meet expectations in terms of service, coffee quality, and consistency. While the cheese garlic breads were enjoyable, there is room for improvement in various aspects of the cafe's operations.
