Considering the brand name and the associated cost, the quality of food and the service left us disappointed. The kebabs were mediocre at best and tasted bland. The waiters were caught clueless about the menu when asked about some specific dishes and they had to check with the chef or the shift manager regarding it. Overall, I felt it was not worth the cost and/or the brand name attached to it. Hope they will improve in the near future. Till then, I will definitely not recommend anyone, unless, it's a corporate event. Let me begin by saying I am writing this review so that you don't go visit The square for a buffet like I did. It was a mistake which won't be repeated. The food - I haven't seen such a disappointing buffet spread ever. There was absolutely nothing that I wanted to taste again. Dry pieces of chicken in appetizers which were so chew-ey I wouldn't expect at a roadside stall. And that's where the disappointment began. Found no non vegetarian items apart from the biriyani in the whole spread. Dahi bara had no bowls beside to take it, couldn't get hold of the staff to get it rectified. I would prefer to go have a buffet in barbecue nation than waste my money here because at the end of the day food and its quality matters not the ambience of the places you're having it at. And I won't even begin to compare it to great buffets like the grand market pavilion at ITC, seasonal tastes at Westin or JW kitchen. The dessert was good. But by that time the buffet was un redeemable. Hopefully this reaches the management and they take steps to fix it.
