After a long walk around Diwan-e-Am, go to this restaurant and have a rest here. You can have perfectly cooked pasta, omelettes and pizza at Blue Door Cafe. Tasty flija is the tastiest dish. You will hardly forget good iced coffee, masala chai or espresso that you can find.
The homely atmosphere of this place allows visitors to relax after a hard working day. The hospitable staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. Blue Door Cafe in Jaipur close to the City Palace was an interesting experience. The seating is spread out across multiple floors including a rooftop, and we visited on a Friday afternoon. We got the thalis—Wadood and Queen thalis—a vegetarian assortment of curries, daal, chapati and salad. They were well-cooked and tasted delicious. The rooftop seating was good enough despite there being nothing to write home about the views from the rooftop. Being an interracial couple, we were hoping to engage more with the owner. But the owner just kept talking to my Caucasian partner and completely ignored me. Oh well. Restroom looked like it could use some work. They’ve more food options including Italian and traditional Indian dishes. The interior decor is stellar and the location is quite conspicuous. Overall, I recommend Blue Door Cafe for their food.
