3/5 stars - A delightful yet imperfect experience with Biryani by Kilo I recently had the pleasure of trying Biryani by Kilo's delivery service, and I must say, the taste was absolutely yum! The presentation, however, was what truly stole the show. The creative use of a matka and earthen tools to cook the biryani was a game-changer. It not only added to the aesthetic appeal but also provided a unique, hands-on experience. I loved learning about ancient Indian cooking methods and enjoying the process like a real-life project. The presentation deserves a perfect score – 5/5! The attention to detail and effort put into making the experience special was commendable. However, my enthusiasm was somewhat dampened by the discrepancy in the weight of the biryani. I ordered 1 kg, but the quantity fell short, likely due to the weight of the earthen pot being included. Given the price, I expected a more generous serving. While the taste and presentation were exceptional, the pricing and weight issue left me disappointed. Unfortunately, this might deter me from ordering from Biryani by Kilo again. Despite this, I appreciate their unique approach to serving biryani and would recommend them to those who value creativity and flavor. If they can revisit their pricing strategy and ensure accurate weight measurements, I'd be more than happy to give them a 5-star rating. For now, it's a solid 3/5.
