This Nukkad disappointed us. Have visited Jalvihar Nukkad often, so thought to give this a try. First thing you see as soon as you enter is that it's totally unhygienic. There are many small huts where you can sit but they are totally unclean and unhygienic, where you can see insects and reptiles (it's quite a horrifying experience), also the previous customer's table is not cleared and you will see plates and everything still there, which you will have to ask to get cleaned. Then you have an option to go and sit in the Garden area, which is just okay, reh vibe is not very happy there. Food is good and fairly priced and reminds you of home cooked food. Just want to say that Nukkad chai is very good and never disappoints.

You are absolutely right to expect clean and welcoming seating. If tables were not cleared on time, that is a lapse on our part -especially if it wasn’t a rush hour - and I sincerely apologise for the discomfort it caused. This has been escalated to the team, and we are reinforcing stricter checks around table clearance and hygiene across the space. Bihan, being an open garden-style café, does face challenges with insects due to its natural setting. That said, “open” should never translate to “uncomfortable” or “unhygienic.” We are reviewing pest-control measures and maintenance routines to ensure the experience feels safe and pleasant, not unsettling.
