Et diner ekta eto purano dokan, choto belay babar hath dhorey butter fish, mutton kosha r cutlet khetey ashtam. But those days are in the past. Quality khub porey geche but price bhison i berey gechey. I ordered butter fish which was over cooked a bit burnt and another one was under cooked and mutton cutlet was actually onion cutlet, mutton ta sudhu namo namo koreyi iti. Pulao rice was good enough. I don't think I will go back.

The Bengal Hotel in Behala boasts an impressive 80-year legacy, but unfortunately, my recent experience left much to be desired. I ordered the fish batter fry, only to be disappointed by its poor taste and inadequate quantity for the price of 150 rupees. Adding to the disappointment was the fish's noticeable fermented smell, indicating a lapse in quality control. Unless significant improvements are made, regrettably, I cannot foresee revisiting this establishment in my lifetime.
