A wonderful, memorable day trip, soaking up the tranquility and natural beauty of Northern Kerala’s backwaters, lined with coconut plantations and fishing boats, truly restful for the soul. Ravi, Narayan and Jayachandra were excellent hosts - warm, friendly, informative and professional. Our Keralan vegetarian lunch was delicious - a true experience served on a banana leaf. A huge thank you from Myself and Judy. We would definitely recommend this to anyone. Thank you.

Had an amazing houseboat experience with Bekal Ripple. A big thank you to Host Ravi, Captain Chandra, and Chef Narayan for their warm hospitality. Ravi’s stories about the surrounding islands and landscape made the journey even more special. The tea and snacks were lovely, and the sunset views over the backwaters were absolutely breathtaking. A peaceful, memorable experience — highly recommended!

We enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing half day journey along the North Keralan backwaters near Nileshwar on 11 December with Bekal Ripples. Our amazing cheerful crew made us a delicious lunch with some of the tastiest chicken fry and ghee rice, and well supplied with tasty snacks and drinks. Being in an estuary we saw a variety of fishing boats and related activity as well as sea eagles. We highly recommend this experience with Ravi, the Kaptain and Chef, booked through Polika Travel.
