Nice place for the vibe — comfy seating, relaxed music, pretty decent ambience. The food and service were just okay: nothing special, a bit slow at times. We were extremely disappointed with our visit. The falafel was just okay, but the salad was a complete disaster – poor quality and not fresh at all. We sent it back, only to receive a replacement that was just as bad. The kebab was soft and soggy, not grilled properly as you would expect. Service was slow and inattentive. For the prices this restaurant charges, the experience was a total letdown. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place at all. This used to be one of my favourite places, but the quality of food has dropped exponentially. We received two stale meat dishes that we had to return. Fortunately, the serving staff were excellent and did their best to compensate for the lowered kitchen standard. Writing this with the hope that they will being Bayroute back to where it was. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
