Tried out something different for dinner the other day with family, and wow, what a flavourful ride it turned out to be! Every dish had its own personality. The Machboos Al Kuzu was an absolute stunner, rich, aromatic, and slow-cooked to perfection.The Kebab Istanbul was loaded with bold spices, and that Baklava Salted Caramel Shake? Insane! Just the right amount of sweet indulgence. Don’t miss the Seekh, either- juicy, full of flavour, and perfectly charred.Also loved the Zaatar Chicken Manakeesh and the Lavash Crust Chicken Kabsa, I could tell everything was made with real love for the cuisine.Honestly, it’s rare to find food that’s this beautiful and this comforting at the same time. From presentation to service everything felt just right. Definitely coming back for more.

Bayroute Powai is hands down one of the finest Middle Eastern restaurants in Mumbai. From the moment you step in, you’re transported to an exotic world with plush interiors, intricate detailing, and a vibe that’s both luxurious and inviting.We started off with their Falafel and Pita with Hummus – both served fresh, warm, and packed with flavor. The hummus was creamy and authentic, paired perfectly with the soft pita. The falafels were crispy on the outside and soft inside – a total win!For drinks, we tried the Arabic Date Milkshake and Avocado Milkshake – and both were absolutely delightful! The date shake was rich, naturally sweet, and felt like a dessert in itself. The avocado one was creamy and refreshing.For mains, we ordered Koshari and Findik Al Pesto – and both dishes were mind-blowingly good. • The Koshari was a hearty, comforting Egyptian dish with layers of lentils, rice, pasta, and tangy tomato sauce – full of bold flavors. • The Findik Al Pesto was super creamy and perfectly balanced with fresh herbs and crunch – a must-try!We ended the meal with their signature Kunafi Jibneh, which was hands down one of the cheesiest and most satisfying kunafas I’ve had in Mumbai! The texture, the sweet syrup, and that cheesy pull – pure heaven! Service: Warm, attentive, and well-paced. The staff knows the menu and gives great suggestions.
