We visited Bay View on 7th January 2026 for Dinner between 7- 8 PM. The service was Ok nothing as expected from a restuarant in 5 star hotel. But the most disappointing was the food. We ordered fish cakes but they came cold as if they were just heated up from already made ones..we could not eat it .we ordered some mutton curry and a podi rice dish they were equally felt unhealthy and left us bloated within couple of bites. We left feeling sick and from next day my husband started feeling sick with fever, chills and sweating. We did not think much at the time and thought it could be because of viral fever and expecting it to get better with time and paracetemol but it was still not getting better after a week and when we got it checked it was a amoebic liver abcess which is caused by amoebic bacteria and my husband is hospitalised from 16th Jan till date to drain the puss formed. We cannot be sure if its from the food we had at this restuarant but we just felt sick from the food after dinner and we suspect its from this resturant but ofcourse we cannot be 100% sure. But the food felt very unhygienic and it took me soo long to provide feedback because my husband was admitted in ICU with serious case of Liver abcess.
