Barista used to be the fun cool coffee shop in India. Past five years or so they've really gone down, just as their prices have gone up. Prices are now outrageous and despite advertising Lavazza coffee the drinks don't give any more kick than say, Those of Coffee Day. Place does feel classy, clean and comfy, but air con was sultry and half-on, like the one barman. I ordered an Amaretto drink and it wasn't available. The "iced" coffee i got instead was lukewarm, not icy or cold. The only advantage this chain has over Coffee Day now? Lack of obnoxious loud techno music (thank you), and having WiFi. Also lack of courting teenagers, likely due to high prices.
Next time I'll go round the corner to coffee shop at The Park star hotel; Prices will be same and the hotel will have bathrooms.
