Had a wonderful experience at Barbeque Nation Velachery! The ambience was lively, the starters were delicious, and the buffet spread had a great variety. The desserts were a perfect finish. A special mention to the service staff, especially Badhsha, who was extremely courteous and attentive, making our dining experience even better. Perfect place for family gatherings and celebrations — definitely worth it! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹800–1,000

Starters were really good and we enjoyed them a lot, but the main dishes were quite disappointing. They had a wide variety of items that looked attractive, but the taste didn’t live up to the expectations. Visited this restaurant for a team lunch with around 24 colleagues, and it turned out to be one of the most disappointing barbecue experiences I’ve had. The starters stopped coming after just 2–3 rounds, despite the menu claiming 10 vegetarian and 10 non-vegetarian options. In reality, only about 6 non-veg and 7 veg items were served. Even then, we had to repeatedly follow up with the staff, and many items were either delayed or sent to other tables instead of ours. To make matters worse, the grill was removed mid-way without explanation. When we asked about the pending starters, the manager said they would be served on plates, but they never arrived. Desserts also ran out quickly, with hardly enough prepared for a large group. Something as basic as green chutney had to be requested multiple times before it was finally served. This was a stark contrast to my earlier experience at their T. Nagar outlet, which had been excellent, and it also falls short of the standards maintained by other barbecue restaurants. Overall, the service was unprofessional, the food was poorly managed, and the experience was highly unsatisfactory for a group outing. Meal type: Lunch Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
