Come here for a drink after a long walk around Rock Garden. Come to this confectionary restaurant for a break and order perfectly cooked egg rolls, filet américain and cheese bread. I have been buying cakes from Baker's Treat since 15 years and have always felt that the quality of their cakes is comparable to some high end bakery brands. It still remains a relatively small shop which along with cakes and pastries sells chips, bread sticks, bread, buns and other bakery products. I have found their Dutch and Chocolate truffle cakes to be extremely tasty and rich. Many bakeries stuff chocolate cakes with cream. But here truffle cakes are made of dense fudgy chocolate and that makes them taste heavenly. I did not find their black forest cake to be upto the mark though. It was extremely creamy with no biscuity base. All their cakes are vegetarian. Their home delivery has also been reliable over the years. The one thing that can be improved is the customer service. The guys at the counter are always unsmiling and uncommunicative. A more polite and friendlier approach would help.
