Karimeen fry was really fresh and soft. Fish and duck mappas were served cool and tasted great. Definitely worth trying. Not too expensive either Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Puttu and Kadala Curry, Karimeen Pollichathu, Fish Fry, Duck Mappas, Fish Curry Meals

Avees Puttu House, Paravoor: A Disappointing Culinary Experience Avees Puttu House in Paravoor, a seemingly promising eatery with a sleek design and ample parking, unfortunately, falls short in terms of its culinary offerings. While its strategic location near NH66 makes it a convenient pit stop for highway travelers, the food quality and pricing don't quite justify the hype. We opted for the Chicken Biriyani, Appam, and Beef Curry. The Chicken Biriyani, priced at a hefty 250 INR, was a peculiar experience. It came with two chicken pieces, one fried and the other in a gravy-like sauce. This unconventional combination was a first for us and didn't quite hit the mark. The Appam, on the other hand, was fresh and enjoyable. However, the Beef Curry was rather underwhelming, falling below average in terms of flavor and texture. While the restaurant's aesthetics and location might be appealing, the overpriced menu and inconsistent food quality make it a less-than-ideal dining choice.
