Review of House of Wok, GK 1, M Block – A Hidden Gem for Oriental Delights Tucked away in the bustling lanes of GK 1 M Block, House of Wok is a small yet delightful joint that serves up a surprisingly rich variety of oriental cuisine. Despite its modest size, the place packs a punch when it comes to flavor, hospitality, and overall dining experience. I visited for dinner and was thoroughly impressed. I started with the Laksa soup, which was rich, aromatic, and had the perfect balance of spices and coconut milk. Next came the chicken dim sums – soft, juicy, and packed with flavor, they were undoubtedly some of the best I’ve had in Delhi. For the main course, I ordered Soba noodles in soya and oyster sauce, which were absolutely delightful – perfectly cooked noodles, generous with vegetables , and full of umami goodness. What truly elevated the experience was the warm and courteous staff. Everyone was attentive, but a special shoutout goes to Shivam, a gem of a server who went out of his way to ensure we got what we liked best. His recommendations were spot-on, and his genuine smile and service added a personal touch that’s hard to find these days. House of Wok may be small in space, but it’s big on heart, taste, and hospitality.
