Perfectly cooked udon, prawns and chicken might be what you need. Many guests consider the staff accommodating. Service at this restaurant is something one can call prompt. Kimchi Ramen (Chicken) - Rs.300 Asian Kitchen, Mawroh, Shillong Asian $$$ 06.11.24 It's been almost a week since I last ate out & I was itching to go out & eat something. So tonight I decided to go to @asiankitchenmawroh , a place I've eaten a couple of times before Covid to have their Pepper Steak. I drove up to the restaurant only to find their Specials Menu has been changed. I wasn't planning on eating Chinese or Indian either. Anyway they still had a few Noodles & Rice dishes from the Far East. I decided on a Kimchi Ramen (Chicken) over Udon Noodles, but asked them to tone down on the heat. The place is a simple cute little space with 22 seatings at one go. There were a lot of online orders coming in & so my order did take 30 mins to arrive. The order looked really appetizing. Perfect for a chilli evening. It came in a nice big steaming bowl with I guess noodles which were not made inhouse & they came along with a boiled egg, button mushrooms, sweet corn & 4 big & nicely grilled slices of chicken swimming in a chilli sauce broth which was neither thick nor thin. I took a bite & the chicken was soft & tender & the light char added flavors to it. The noodles were of decent portions (considering that I'm trying to reduce my carb intake) & still had some bite to them. The egg, mushrooms & corn added textures & flavors. I sure was glad that I asked them to reduce the heat since this itself was helping to clear up my sinuses. For people who love spicy food, this would be a good recommendation. I'm not sure how authentic this dish is, but over & above everything, it had good flavors & I enjoyed it. Service was slightly slow but was pleasant.
